Hello Again,
So for todays blog, I decided to do something different, a Scariest things tag. I didn't get tagged to do this but it just seems interesting!
1. Scariest real life experience?
I guess it's not that scary, but it was at the time. I was going to the park with my Mum and sister when I was younger, and my Mum sent me and my sister to get some drinks, at the Tesco down the road. On the way back, this weird man tried to grab my hand, and I pulled away. I met him again at the traffic lights, he kept hussling me saying that he needs to cross with me. It was a red man so I said no. He crossed and waited at the other side. I grabbed my sisters hand tighter, and told her that when we get to the other side, we need to run to Mum. When I got to the other side, I thought that he went away so I walked up normally, until I notice him, walking across from us. When we sped up, he did, when we slowed down, he did. Then I really started to panic, so I grabbed my sisters arm, and I ran for the hills,(my Mum). He want away after that.
2.Scariest paranormal experience?
To be honest I have never really had too many scary experiences, there are two experiences. I was at my Dads old house, and I stayed up late down stairs watching TV. At this time I assumed everyone else was in bed. I myself am very sceptical about the existence of ghosts, still to this day I don't know if what I saw was real but, I heard a loud crash outside the door, and at that moment, I thought someone was there. I thought I saw a dark figure move into the other room. I brushed it off and assumed that I was being an idiot, as you do, but then I heard it again, about a few minutes later. I saw the dark figure again. Being the paranoid person I am, I went to check the room, and made sure the doors were locked. I don't know if you can relate to me, but you know when you have to turn off the last light, and you sprint up the stairs like Bolt. That was me. I went to bed and never really made more of it. The creepiest part is that my bedroom was at the end of this really long hall with the press door at the end. I hated leaving the door open, because I always felt like I was being watched, but the light in my room was too bright so I left the hall light on. The next morning I tried to tell my Dad what happened, but he told me not to speak about. When we moved house, my Dad told me that he experienced strange happenings as well, and that's why he decided to move out.
3. Have you ever known anyone convicted of a violent crime?
No, but have you ever wondered how many killers you have walked past in the street? I know It sounds creepy, but there are people who aren't locked up for murder, you might have even shook hands with a killer. Think about that for a moment...
4. Are you afraid of the dark? Why/why not
Yes. I am scared of the dark, mainly because everything creepy happens in the dark. The fact that you can't see anything makes things all the more scary, that even if there wasn't anything, how would you know? You wouldn't. I get the feeling of defencelessness. I know I sound paranoid, It's likely to be scary movies if I'm honest.
5. Does your town have any scary stories or Legends?
There are a few scary stories that I know, but the Abbey Pumping Station story. It basically goes like this. One day, a worker was working late, finishing off cleaning on the highest level. Slipping on his own mopping, he slipped and fell to the bottom story. People who work there say that they hear his screams at night. Some workers refuse to work the late shifts.
6. What is your favourite Urban Legend?
I love urban legends and scary stories, but my favourite is the Humans can lick too story. Here's how the story goes. An old woman has trouble sleeping at night, so before she goes to sleep she needs her get dog to lick her hand, (her dog sleeps under the bed). So she puts her hand, and gets a lick from her dog, and goes to sleep. She is woken up at night with the sound of dripping in the bathroom, so she goes to check the bathroom, and makes sure all the taps are closed. She goes back to bed, and puts her hand under the bed. She feels the lick and goes to sleep. An hour later she hears the dripping again, this time she checks the bathroom down stairs. When she opens the door, she is met by the horrific sight of her dog dripping with blood in the shower. Turning around, she reads the writing on the wall smeared in blood, '' humans can lick too''. I love how simple yet terrifying this story is, and I don't sleep with my hand hanging over the bed anymore.
